Birkenstock is stepping into the world of ballet with its new Repetto collection.

Birkenstock, as part of its Paris-based exclusive projects series Birkenstock 1774, is joining the ongoing 'balletcore' trend by collaborating with the long-established French shoe brand Repetto.
The German shoe brand Birkenstock is launching a three-piece shoe collection with the French shoe brand Repetto as part of its 1774 series, a Paris-based unit dedicated to exclusive projects and collaborations. Inspired by Repetto's ballet roots, the three models draw inspiration from the art of dance.
The three-piece Birkenstock x Repetto collection will launch on July 16th and will feature three Birkenstock models reinterpreted with Repetto's 'refined perspective,' combining 'purposeful design with ballet grace.'
The collection includes the Arizona sandal, specially designed to add a 'sculptural touch' to the classic design with oversized round buckles, while the Scala model features a round toe, two upper straps, and a lace-up bow. The final model is the Opéra sabot silhouette, adorned with long laces that wrap around the ankle like a dancer's ribbon.
All three models are available in sizes 35 to 42 and come in three of Repetto's iconic colors: iconic pink, flame red, and deep black. The collection is paired with Repetto's signature Vichy checkered fabric lining.
The Birkenstock x Repetto collection will be available on July 16th at 1774.com, Repetto's own retail channels, and select retail stores worldwide.
